The Securities Commission adopted a decision to enter into the Register of Investment Funds a new open-end investment fund Intesa Invest Comfort Euro. Intesa Invest Comfort Euro will operate as a balanced fund. Balanced funds invest at least 85% of theirs assets into equity and debt securities. Investments in debt securities and cash deposits cannot be lower than 35% nor exceed 65% of the fund asset value.
Bank of Russia and Republic of Serbia Securities Commission conclude MOU
The Bank of Russia and the Republic of Serbia Securities Commission concluded the Memorandum of Understanding setting out a communication procedure between the securities and derivatives market authorities of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Serbia in order to establish effective long-term cooperation and information exchange.
First initial public offering of shares (IPO) launched
The Securities Commission adopted a decision granting approval to the energy company Fintel energija a.d. Beograd to make public a prospectus detailing the terms and rights attached to the offered security, as well as information on the company itself and its finances. The prospectus for public offering and admission of shares to the regulated market was approved at the Commission's 65th session of the IX term of office held on 20 July 2018. On Wednesday 25 July, the prospectus was made public. This officially launched the process of a first initial public offering (IPO) in Serbia.
