Workshop “New Faces of Financial Crime – Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing and Proliferation in the Capital Market” Organized by the Commission and the OSCE Mission to Serbia

Organized by the Securities Commission in cooperation with the OSCE Mission to Serbia, a workshop entitled “New Faces of Financial Crime – Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing and Proliferation in the Capital Market” was held on May 28, 2026, at the premises of the Commission. The workshop was opened by the Secretary of the Commission, Goran Kuprešanin, and Zoran Popović, representative of the OSCE Mission to Serbia. The aim of the workshop was to familiarize participants in the capital market and digital assets sector with modern forms of money laundering, terrorist financing, and proliferation financing, their criminal, economic, and regulatory consequences, as well as the role of the Securities Commission and entities under its supervision in preserving the integrity of the financial market.

Representative of the Commission Participated in the Conference “Digital Assets as a Subject of Enforcement”

A representative of the Securities Commission of the Republic of Serbia, Uroš Popović, participated in the conference “Digital Assets as a Subject of Enforcement”, held on 8 May 2026 in the amphitheater of the National Bank of Serbia. Within Panel I, “Regulatory Framework for Digital Assets and Challenges in Practice”, dedicated to the implementation of regulations, the future development of the regulatory framework, and alignment with European standards, the Special Advisor to the Chairman of the Commission spoke about practical experiences in the implementation of the Law on Digital Assets, market development through white papers and digital asset service providers, as well as the potential for integrating digital assets with the capital market under real market conditions.

April examination session for obtaining the titles of broker, investment adviser and portfolio manager

Interested candidates are hereby informed that the Securities Commission will organize an examination session in the last week of April 2026 for obtaining the titles of broker, investment adviser, and portfolio manager. Applications for taking the examination may be submitted until 15 April 2026. Candidates are required to submit, together with their application, all prescribed documentation by post or email, in order for the application to be considered timely and complete.
