The Securities Commission entered a new private investment fund into the Register of Investment Funds, at the 17th session held on 11 April 2017. The new fund PIF WMEP-1 D.O.O. BEOGRAD is managed by the investment fund management company FIMA INVEST. The private investment fund WMEP-1 is in the category of funds that offer wider investment latitude, investing in all legal investments, without limitations and entailing higher risk.

YouTube instructions on electronic filing of financial statements have been published on the Securities Commission channel. The video contains detailed explanations on how financial statements are completed and filed electronically using the SEC Gateway. This requirement applies to broker-dealer companies, investment fund management companies, investment funds, Belgrade Stock Exchange and the Central Securities Depository. The filing of financial statements via the SEC Gateway will be possible as of 18 April 2017.

The Rulebook on amendments to the Rulebook on the content, form and methods of publication of annual, half-yearly and quarterly reports of publicly-traded companies has been published in the Official Gazette of RS. This Rulebook came into force on 25 March 2017. The Amendments to the Rulebook contain more precise provisions on the contents of the annual, half-yearly and quarterly reports. The amendments also had the purpose of aligning this piece of legislation with the new SEC Rulebook on the Official Register of Information.
