The Chairman of the Securities Commission, Marko Janković, participated in the International Conference on Financial Markets in Montenegro, held from September 24 to 25, 2024. He took part in the panel discussion titled "The Capital Market Development Strategy in the Adria Region," alongside representatives from other financial regulatory bodies such as the Capital Market Authority of Montenegro, HANFA, the Security and exchange Commission of the Republic of North Macedonia, and the Albanian Financial Supervision Authority.
The participants discussed the challenges and opportunities for improving financial markets in the region, with a particular focus on innovation and strengthening cooperation among countries.
During his participation, the Chairman of the Commission announced significant steps in the development of Serbia's capital market. He highlighted that the first exchange-traded fund (ETF) is expected to launch in the first half of the next year, while the first issuance of corporate bonds is planned by the end of this year.
