The Third Forensic Accounting Conference, entitled “From Accounting Manipulation to Sustainability and Artificial Intelligence: New Horizons in Forensic Accounting”, was held on 23 and 24 October 2026 at the Faculty of Economics in Belgrade. The conference was organized by the Center for Forensic Accounting of the Faculty of Economics in Belgrade, with the support of the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL), as part of the project “Building Forensic Accounting Capacities in Serbia”.
The conference focused on the legal aspects and importance of forensic accounting in the prevention and detection of fraud, the exploration of innovative approaches to addressing emerging risks in an increasingly complex business environment, as well as the identification of new directions for research and practical application in this field.
The Securities Commission of the Republic of Serbia was represented at the conference by employees of the Audit Quality Control Department.
