The Securities Commission will organize an examination period for candidates to acquire the titles of broker, investment advisor, and portfolio manager during the months of February/March.
The examination registration starts from October 23, 2023, and will continue until January 19, 2024. Candidates apply for the examination in accordance with the Regulations on acquiring titles and obtaining licenses for performing the duties of broker, investment advisor and portfolio manager by submitting an examination application on the appropriate form published on the Commission's website under the Education, Courses section, and by providing the necessary documents and proof of payment of the fee in accordance with the relevant tariff number from the Commission's Tariff Regulations.

Marko Janković, the President of the Securities Commission, as a speaker, took part in the largest regional tech conference "Splet Tech 2023" held on October 10, 2023, at the MTS Arena in Belgrade. The conference focused on "Introducing Special Funds for Investment in Legislation in Serbia." During the event, he presented the Commission's plans to improve regulations, enabling easier and more efficient establishment and operation of UCITS and AIF investment funds in the Republic of Serbia. Conference participants were also briefed on the planned changes in the legal framework aimed at providing more favorable conditions for investments in innovative startup companies, contributing to further growth in the IT sector.

On October 9, 2023, in the premises of the Faculty of Law, University of Belgrade, a Cooperation Agreement was signed between these two institutions. The Agreement was signed by the President of the Securities Commission, Mr. Marko Janković, and the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Prof. Dr. Zoran Mirković. The aim of the Agreement is to deepen collaboration between the Commission and the Faculty of Law through the exchange of experts and professors, organization of joint lectures and workshops, and involving students in the practical work of the Commission. This will lead to better integration of theoretical knowledge acquired by students at the faculty and practical experience, primarily in the fields of capital markets and digital assets. This Agreement marks the beginning of a more profound and comprehensive coordination between the Securities Commission and the Faculty of Law.
